Chrome remote desktop lag3/13/2023 I want to state that I only plan to use it to do the Crafting Writs and to Get Skyshards or do overland content. Maybe this mini pc is becoming too bigĪbout the RAM, I thought that the Raspberry Pi 1 vers B had just 512MB. Has any of you successfully played ESO over Chrome Remote Desktop Or can you recommend an app like this that wont have this problem Disclaimer: before you tell me that there will be a lot of lag, etc. The external hard drive is a nice solution. Now I am trying to use a faster SD card (class 10 instead of a class 4). I know that ADSL connections are faster in download than in upload, but an SHDSL is way too expensive and for my needs an ADSL connection is enough: I usually have to upload max 1GB worth of files, so a night is enough to upload my videos. I read that USB and Ethernet ports share the same bandwith, but when I use the raspberry pi via remote desktop connection, I usually disconnect keyboard and mouse. We get over four times faster downstream (27Mb/s) than upstream (6Mb/s) on our FTTC link. That steals some of the 480Mb/s USB bandwidth but removes the SDCard constraint.įinally, you're pushing data the wrong way up your ADSL/ADSL2 (or VDSL2 if you have FTTC) connection (they're optimised for downstream traffic not upstream). One way to make things better is to use a USB / 2.5" SATA harddrive. If you exceed that and start swapping to SDCard things get even worse (and you really will understand how slow the SDCard runs). Another constraint on a RPi is the SDCard. There's a 480Mb/s limit on USB that's partially used by the SMSC9514 USB/ethernet. I have a Synology NAS that can connect to Google Drive and set the uploads from there.ĭougieLawson wrote:One constraint is probably the 100Mb/s (that's ~12MB/s ignoring some of the header overhead) on the ethernet link if it's wired. If you think Raspberry is not the right solution for my case, I can study a different solution. When I work on it directly, connecting mouse, keyboard and a monitor, everything is smooth.ĭo you think I can gain some performances using the new Raspberry pi?Ĭurrently I am using a class 6 SD card from SanDisk. When I connect via Remote Desktop everything is quite slow. So I set the Raspian OS to accept remote connections from other PC from my network. I don't want to keep my main computer on during my uploads. My goal is to a have a mini PC to upload my videos online on Google Drive (I am a cameraman and I use Google Drive to keep and send the movies I edit to my clients). I prepared a raspberry pi (first version) rev 2 with raspbian thanks to the guide I found on this website. I searched for similar posts but I wasn't able to find something similar. This is my first post in this great community. It all depends on the network Although Windows dominates the computer market, but you can still find a lot of people using Macs that runs on OS X Fixing Remote Play input lag It's important to note that if you're noticing input lag, it can be from a handful of issues Issue - Accessing Windows Server 2008 R2 via RDC on iMac and there is lag (slowness) Multi-Monitor.
